I just spent 4 days not thinking about diet, exercise, or weight. Been too busy. I didn't make the best choices but I didn't consume much either.

  • Thursday - work, got my hair dyed RED and time spent with family.
  • Friday - work, then went to my sister's for my niece's birthday till about midnight. Didn't over eat but drank 3 wine coolers at the party
  • Saturday - Town work, house work, then picked my niece up to stay over night. Also have my cousin's two girls. Unfortunately, it didn't go so good. My niece was up 3 times puking in the middle of the night. We went through 2 sets of bed linens. (Remember I have no washer hooked up) Great!
  • Sunday, me and Lucy laided around all day since we didn't sleep last night. My mom came and gathered up all my bed linens to wash at her house. I fully intended to take them to the laundry mat. She had to spray them off with the outdoor water hose before putting in the wash. (ISn't my mom the greatest?) Then, we all met for my dad's side of the family for christmas. I only see most of them once a year. Luckily, Lucy started feeling better. Hope she's okay and I hope that I dont' get it!

See, no time to think about what I'm eating. This week will probably be different. The Y is offering alot of free classes this week. I'm going to take some to see what I want to sign-up for.

Now, it's time to get to bed. I'm totally exhausted.

Okay...I finally rejoined the 21st century. I dumped the dial-up and got broadband. I had dsl through my phone company before I moved but at my new house I couldn't get it. so, it's been AOL dial-up for two months. Shooo....don't know how I survived. hehe. I can blog from my bed again. LOL!! Now...if I'd just put a charged battery in this laptop, I'd have it made.

Well..the weight bobbled back up over the weekend. Honestly, I just wanted to eat all weekend. It's funny how I have those days sometimes. And I don't thnk it has a thing to do with my fill level. Because today, I wasn't hungry at all...and was satisfied on 1100 calores. My bingy days are nothing like they use to be though. yesterday I felt like I overate and only really had 1700 calories. On one hand, I don't understand why I'm not losing more and on the other hand I know my calorie choices are not always the best. I feel like I'm only on plan 50% of the time. I have to change that.

In other news, I finally feel semi-confident enough to start dating. I joined eharmony.com about a month ago. I have one prospect that I'm e-mailing. He's vacatoning in Florida for another month so I have a little more time to build up to the big meet-up. Not sure we'll mesh well but it'll be a confidience boost just to get out there again. It's been 3 years since I've dated. Over a year since the last hook-up with an ex.....it's time. LOL!

Boy, does time fly. I was doing so well posting and bam! Nothing.

Life has been busy. Work, finally getting settled in to the new house, training someone to take my town job, working out, and lots of family events.

I completed 42 miles of exercise in November. My goal was 60 miles but I have a very bad cold/flu for a week. In fact, the cold has held on for about 3 weeks but the worst of it lasted a week. I never miss work and I missed 2 days. It was the first time in 2 years that I've called in.

My birthday came and went without much incidence. My birthday is almost always celebrated by my family on Thanksgiving. I always hated that....no separate celebration. Almost like a christmas baby. Anyway, we also had a suprised 40th birthday party for my brother-in-law. And 5 of 7 of my employees had birthday's in November. Needless to say, I've had a lot of cake this month. And my weight in down...216 this morning. I checked my fitday weight log and I've been losing and gaining the same 4 pounds since August. (219-215) So, I really need a new plan. I have to get over this hump.

I'm thinking about joining my Y's Biggest Loser program. I'll tell you more about that latter. I really need to get to bed. It's been a long day.
